Garrett GTX4720R Gen II 80mm Turbocharger
PRODUCT DETAILS
The GTX4720R Gen II 80mm is a Garrett GTX Gen II large-frame turbo with Gen II compressor wheel aerodynamics and a 0.88 A/R (area-to-radius ratio) compressor housing volute. The supercore and turbine housing are sold separately, and the supercore accepts Garrett GT and GTX T6 turbine housings of the same frame.
Garrett rates the GTX4720R Gen II 80mm for 1,025 to 1,900 horsepower on 2.5 to 10.0 liter engines.

Important Information
Garrett calculates its horsepower ratings from the compressor map choke flow, which represents the potential flywheel horsepower of the turbo. Actual results depend on the engine, supporting modifications and calibration.
Garrett sets the maximum allowable speed for this turbo at 85,000 rpm. Operating above that speed can damage the turbo and cause premature failure. A turbo speed sensor (sold separately) lets you monitor shaft speed.
For race vehicles only. Not for use on public roads.
