G4X StormX

The Link G4X StormX is the latest version of Link's trusty mid-sized ECU. With eight injector and eight ignition drives it allows sequential injection and direct spark on engines with up to eight cylinders or four rotors, adding serious motorsport capability over the AtomX and MonsoonX.

• Onboard knock control — supports two knock sensors wired directly to the ECU, no external amplifier required.
• Open and closed loop boost control — up to three switchable boost tables.
• Idle control — solenoid valve or stepper motor idle control.
• Rotary oil metering pump control — proper rotary support.
• Motorsport features — full gear shift control, antilag and launch control.
• Up to 4 fully variable closed loop VVT cams — advanced cam control.
• 512 MB data logging — 32-bit logging on up to 250 channels, up to 1 kHz per channel, 100 kSamples/sec maximum.
• 8x faster communications — download logs eight times faster than G4+.

Specifications

• Inputs — 8 x digital, 3 x temperature, 8 x analog, 2 x trigger, 2 x knock.
• Outputs — 8 x injection drives, 8 x ignition drivers, 8 x auxiliary outputs (unused fuel and ignition drives can be used as extra aux), +5V and +8V sensor power supplies.
• Communications — 1 x CAN bus, 1 x USB tuning connection, upgraded comms chip (at least 8x faster than G4+ V2).

Requires "A" & "B" looms or "A" & "B" connector kits — not supplied. If you need traction control, peak and hold injection or e-throttle, consider the XtremeX or FuryX.
